In Dubai, RSA-Talke’s new storage facility has now been taken into operation for dangerous and non-dangerous goods. This is located in Dubai’s World Central (DWC), which is the very first purpose-built aerotropolis in the world. The RSA-Talke facility boasts a capacity of 19,000 pallet space for dangerous goods with classes 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9. It has direct access to the Jebel Ali sea port, as well as the Al Maktoum airport.

The facility is located in the heart of the Dubai World Central, which is one of the most dynamic hotspots across the world. Because it is close to the Jebel Air free trade zone, part of the largest man-made harbor and only a few minutes away from the Al Maktoum International Airport. Thus, making it the ideal spot for RSA-Talke’s storage facility for dangerous materials.
RSA-Talke, a joint-venture of Dubai-based RSA Logistics and the German-based Talke Group, was founded in May of 2013. The joint venture was made to enable Talke, a chemical logistics expert, to offer its services to a much larger audience, while strengthening the group’s presence in the Middle East. Apart from Dubai, Talke has activities in Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Because of the joint venture, RSA is now able to offer their customers a more comprehensive lineup of logistics services to suit different needs. RSA is also able to build on both companies’ existing customer base.
To ensure that the newly opened facility for dangerous goods is safe and secure, it complies with the highest environment protection, safety and quality standards, like the European Union’s ATEX guidelines and the USA’s National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. More importantly, the storage facility offers cutting-edge storage systems that facilitate in the efficient and safe operations.

Now, RSA-Talke offers customers in the Gulf region storage spaces for up to 19,000-pallets of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, as well as tailor-made transport solutions by air, sea or road. This newly opened storage facility was designed to store goods with classes 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9. The warehouse has seven independent chambers, with four being temperature controlled and run at a constant 22 degree Celsius.
RSA-Talke is also planning another large-scale project, which is an integrated chemicals solution in Jebel Ali, the large Free Trade Zone in the planet.
